Let me be clearer: it doesn’t get cold here. I was sitting outside. This was taken outside a restaurant, so presumably this dog was left for an hour or two. A great example of how these are not our people.

So we’ve been back in San Francisco for two days now, and our jet lag is somehow getting worse. It’s a 10-hour time difference, which is as difficult as a 14-hour time difference (2 hours off 12, if you know what I mean). And, get this: it is further to go from San Francisco to Tel Aviv (7,407 miles) than it is to go from New York to Beijing (6,847 miles).
