We spent the Fourth at Bodega Bay (not the 40s and EZ Wider kind) with Noah, his girlfriend CJ, and Arielle and Martin. Noah rented a house. I’m still full.
Highlights and learnings:
1) A 2000-piece puzzle can almost but not quite be finished in a weekend. Having more people helps less than you think.
2) Ari saw a rabbit run across the backyard. He apparently loves rabbits.
3) Double-ground brisket makes phenomenal hamburgers. But a half pound of beef per person is too much.
4) Especially if two of the people are vegetarian.
5) Ari and Sara also apparently love Noah’s Porsche. We can trade in for the Ford Escape hybrid anyday.

As I look at the group photo, I see Arielle and Noah as elementary school kids and it brings a fountain of affectionate nostalgia to my heart. You all look great but, admittedly, I have been waiting for ten days (yes, I am counting) for photos of my grandson. He and his mother look beautiful.
In an era of virtual evolution, Ari the auto mechanic is transforming speedily to become a race-car driver.
How is the photographer doing? Could he not complete a 2000 piece puzzle in a weekend?
Ima/Savta
I always find it funny when I find out about a Roy-post because I receive a comment from Shula in my inbox. She’s attentive that Savta!
Also, if I do say so myself, I look damn good in a Porsche.
